Finished a commission~! Work has been taking up my time the last week so I hadn’t had a chance to work on my commissions and they started to pile up! But I managed to draw all the lineart for them, so that just leaves color. Hopefully they will all be done soon!

Colored version! Finished up while I was taking a break from sketching at work! My laptop is ridiculously slow. Even surfing. :’D I love working on these quick illustrations. I get quick practice on drawing and color skills. Doing these just makes me realize how much I just enjoy drawing characters. I think this is where I wanna be with my skills.. just working on characters.

I’ve been watching this project by Joy Ang for months now and it’s finally ready for pre-order! It’s full of amazing stories and art by various talented artists. I’m excited to get my copy! Get yours too! 8D

Anyway, been doodling lately just to get some practice in. Here’s a lineart doodle I did late last night after finishing a commission. I’m going to color this soon. I just liked how the lineart looked. It’s been a while since I really sat down at my desk. I have zero space on this thing. It’s 30″! Just about the size of my iMac. It’s cluttered because it has a bunch of stuff on it since I have no other storage. I tried to put my tablet down, but discovered I had no space. I ended up dropping it. I dropped this thing so many times. Eventually I’d really like to invest in a smaller tablet. Thought about getting a bamboo. I would really love to get a new intuos4, but it’s out of my price range at the moment. Well, my intuos2 still works, so I’ll mostly like use it til I really have to get a new one. :p

I need extra cash, so I’m doing small $30 commissions~ I take paypal and payment upfront. They will be 3/4 body illustrations colored and drawn like the doodles: One | Two. Email me if you’re interested.

Been waiting on a few contract jobs to go through, so I need to earn some extra cash in the mean time. I’m currently working on a fun project for a studio here in Vancouver and I’m excited to get started on it! I hope it turns out! It won’t be ready til late summer, but I’ll post pics when it’s ready!
